If you're living in Louisiana you're fortunate to be protected by one of the best health insurance laws in the United States. To make it as simple as possible - if you live in Louisiana and you have health insurance you probably have chiropactic coverage.
Most insurance these days has coverage known as "In Network" or "Out of Network" coverage. Here's what that means. If your insurance has only in network coverage then you can only use a doctor who is in your insurance company's network if you want your insurance to pay for your care.
But If your insurance has out of network coverage you're able to see any doctor who is willing to accept payment from your insurance company.
In the past Dr. Pace was an "in-network provider" for more than 50 different insurance companies. But a few years back he decided to resign from them all.
Why? It's simple. When a doctor signs a contract to be a network provider for an insurance company he or she is usually giving up the right to make all of the important medical decisions and turns over at least some of those decisions to the insurance company. Dr. Pace believes that your health care decisions should be between you and your doctor, not someone at an insurance company who only looks at the bottom line.
When you see an out of network provider like Dr. Pace for your health care needs you and your doctor are in control of your care... not someone who works for your insurance company and is more interest in the "bottom line" than in your health and well being.
If you've been in a car wreck recently and you've got pain, your treatment is probably covered by some type of insurance. Health insurance, automobile liability and automobile medical payment coverage all will pay for treatment related to car wrecks.
We work directly with the insurance company, as well as your attorney (if you're using one for an accident) so that all you have to worry about it getting better.
All employers in Louisiana are required to carry workers' compensation insurance or self insure for on-the-job injuries. So if you've been injured at work, chances are you're covered 100% for chiropractic treatment.
